A side-by-side comparison of the Oval Office decor under former President Joe Biden and the newly redecorated version following President Donald Trump’s return to office has gone viral online.
On Monday, the White House shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) of Trump’s Oval Office sit-down with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid gold ornaments, picture frames and more.
The Associated Press’ Michelle L. Price posted a photo of the same room during Biden’s tenure, showing a more neutral aesthetic.
“This picture from the White House really shows how many gold accents have been added to the Oval Office,” she wrote of the Trump White House image.

Trump’s MAGA supporters predictably loved the upgrade.
Critics, however, were less impressed and dubbed it “Russian Oligarch” chic and “tacky.”
