LOADINGERROR LOADING

Seth Meyers on Tuesday used filmmaker Kevin Smith, of all people, to skewer an interaction between former President Donald Trump and Fox NewsLaura Ingraham. (Watch the video below.)

The “Late Night” host replayed a moment where the Republican nominee falsely accused Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, of not visiting areas affected by Hurricane Helene. But he got corrected by Ingraham, who’s one of Trump’s media allies.

“Imagine being such a liar that you get fact-checked by Laura Ingraham,” Meyers said. “That’s like getting fashion advice from Kevin Smith.”

The “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” director is then shown in what appears to be a pink blazer, blue shorts and yellow sneakers.

“I love you, dude. You know I love you,” Meyers said to the “Clerks” auteur. “You look like an 8-year-old with a court date.”
