The Philadelphia Eagles may have won the Super Bowl on Sunday, but it was Saquon Barkley’s daughter who won the hearts of millions after the game.
Philadelphia’s victory coincided with another big day for Barkley ― the Eagles running back’s 28th birthday ― and his 6-year-old daughter, Jada, brought it up when she got the chance to ask a question during the post-game press conference.
“What was your favorite birthday gift?” Jada asked with a big smile.
Barkley’s answer showed where his priorities really lay.
“Being able to celebrate the Super Bowl with you, SJ, Mommy, Grandma, Grandpa and my brothers and sisters,” he said.
During the press conference, Barkley’s 2-year-old son, Saquon Jr., also had a big question on his mind.
“Where’d Mommy go? Where’d Mommy go, Daddy?” he asked with a pacifier still in his mouth.
While Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was voted game MVP, Barkley showed he was an all-pro at celebrating victories by shotgunning a beer in the locker room after the team’s 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
