Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp shared an update on her cancer journey Thursday, revealing on social media that her doctors have found more tumors.

“Update from my scans today: I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma,” wrote Mellencamp, who starred as a main cast member on Bravo’s hit reality series for three seasons starting in 2017.

The 43-year-old added that her doctors are “hopeful” that immunotherapy ― a treatment that uses a person’s own immune system to find and destroy cancerous cells ― will effectively treat the tumors. “I am feeling positive,” she wrote.

She added that she’s been wearing a wig sometimes. “I like the short hair, just not the bald spots,” she said.

The reality star, the daughter of Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Mellencamp, first shared that she had melanoma in 2022.

She urged her followers to get their moles checked regularly. She said her friend and former castmate, Kyle Richards, noticed a mole on her back had changed colors and insisted on taking her to have it checked immediately.

Then, last month, Mellencamp revealed she needed to have brain tumors removed.

“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches,” she wrote. “Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”

More tumors will be dealt with via radiation, she added.

She shared last week that doctors removed four tumors in total.

“This fight is not over, but that round has been won,” she wrote.
