The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards are here. On Sunday night, the award ceremony is set to stream on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET with actor Kristen Bell as host.

“Wicked” and “Shōgun” lead the nominations in the film and TV categories, respectively. In the film categories, “Anora,” “A Complete Unknown” and “Emilia Pérez” are also up for multiple nominations. For TV, “The Bear” and “The Diplomat” also received a few nods a piece. Actor and activist Jane Fonda is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The ceremony, which is the only televised awards show for actors and by actors, will feature 15 categories for solo and ensemble performances. The awards are voted on by more than 122,000 members of SAG-AFTRA, the labor union representing actors, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other media professionals.

HuffPost staff members will be chatting about the ceremony. Stay tuned for updates.

Kieran Culkin Wins Best Male Actor In A Supporting Role In A Film For ‘A Real Pain’

I was really rooting for Jeremy Strong here for his role in “The Apprentice.” Obviously, Kieran Culkin has been dominating the awards season with his role in Jesse Eisenberg’s film about grief. And he was great in this film, don’t get me wrong. But hey, a surprise win could have been really nice. — Erin

I’m actually not mad that Kieran Culkin took home this award. I really liked his performance in “A Real Pain,” I think because he plays complicated characters so well (as we know from “Succession”). Not a shocking win but I’m glad he got recognized. — Njera

Harrison Ford With The Funny Photobomb During Jessica Williams' 'I'm An Actor' Moment

I mean, who else is chowing down on snacks right now? Me! Harrison Ford and Jessica Williams star in "Shrinking," which I have not yet watched, but if their energy is anything like it was during this moment on the Apple TV+ series, I'm in.

Jean Smart And The ‘Hacks’ Team Perfectly Open The SAG Awards With Hilarious Bit

I just love Jean Smart and I’m a “Hacks” stan. It’s definitely one of the funniest series on TV and I’m always encouraging people to watch it. So to see them open the SAG Awards with a bit about Deborah Vance opening the ceremony was just perfect. We’re not getting Smart as a host, but this bit was a great little moment. Hoping for more wins for “Hacks” at this ceremony. Ahem, it should beat “The Bear” in its categories. No notes! — Erin

As a newcomer to the “Hacks” fandom, I thoroughly enjoyed this bit. Awards season can be a drag sometimes, but I can appreciate the SAG Awards trying to make this show fun.

On a serious note, though, Jean Smart should host an award show one day — somebody make it happen. — Njera
