Let’s just say Pedro Pascal likes coffee a latte.
On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel asked the “Last of Us” star about a discovery his fans recently made about him while holding up a paparazzi photo of the actor holding a large cup of coffee with its order label visible. Pascal’s fans zoomed in on the label and found out that the “Game of Thrones” alum’s coffee order included six shots of espresso, an amount Kimmel called “insane.”
“I cannot begin to tell you how violating this was,” Pascal said with a laugh on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” “There is so much context as to why it has become six shots of espresso.”
Pascal explained that it used to be just a “quad” of espresso, which is shorthand for four shots.
“But then I feel like the cups got bigger, and, I don’t know, the shots got less strong, and at some point it became six,” Pascal explained.
He added, jokingly, “And it was an incredibly private morning ritual that I never wanted anyone to know about. I don’t have more coffee for the rest of the day, I swear.”
“You have it all in one big gulp,” Kimmel said. “Because this isn’t even coffee, this is a meth-uccino.”
“You sip it!” Pascal playfully corrected Kimmel. “You get really high, and you answer emails and stuff.”
Despite Kimmel’s shock over what he perceived as an unhinged amount of espresso, plenty of Pascal’s fans who say they’re baristas, pointed out on TikTok and X, formerly Twitter, that Pascal’s order isn’t that weird.
“as a barista this is actually very normal ????” one TikToker said.
“Any Starbucks barista would tell you that that order is tame compared to what people request. So tame!” an X user chimed in.
“as a barista with adhd, consuming 6 shots to answer emails is not *that* insane let pedro abuse substances in PEACE,” another X user said.
