Jimmy Kimmel said President Donald Trump raised eyebrows this week with his answer to “a pretty simple question” about Vice President JD Vance.

Trump was asked on Fox News if he views Vance as his successor and GOP nominee in 2028, given that Trump himself can’t run again.

“No,” Trump flatly answered. “But he’s very capable.”

Kimmel laughed at Trump’s non-endorsement of his own number two.

“That is colder than Melania’s side of the bed,” he said. “You could have at least pretended to think about it for a minute.”

Kimmel thought he would check in on Vance ― played by Haley Joel Osment ― to see how he was doing after the snub.
