Mark Zuckerberg says his wife wasn’t exactly thrilled with the giant Roman-inspired sculpture he gifted her last year.

The Meta CEO made news last August after commissioning a 7-foot-tall turquoise and silver monument of wife Priscilla Chan that he had placed in their front lawn.

But the grand gesture didn’t really land with the mother of his three children.

“I don’t think she was that happy with it,” Zuckerberg told podcaster Theo Von during Monday’s episode of his show, “This Past Weekend.”

Though the tech billionaire, who Bloomberg says is worth $195 billion, said Chan was a “good sport” about the present, he said it may have been a bit much for his wife of nearly 13 years.

“She doesn’t want a sculpture of her in the front lawn — that’s weird,” Zuckerberg told Von.

While unveiling the piece of art to the public in an Instagram post last summer, the tech mogul explained he was, “Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife.”

Zuckerberg went on to reveal that he may have misstepped because of how eager he was to collaborate with artist Daniel Arsham.

“She’s kind of the target of my creative energy,” he admitted.
