MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell on Wednesday night mocked President Donald Trump with a new moniker inspired by the hit mob show “The Sopranos.”

Introducing... “Donny 2 Dolls.”

The president drew criticism and ridicule earlier in the day after he admitted that Christmas this year for children in America may be a bit more frugal, thanks to hikes in prices on toys as a result of his tariffs.

“Maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more than they would normally,” Trump told the latest fawning meeting of his Cabinet.

O’Donnell argued Trump’s admission meant there was “a new possibility for the now years-old guessing game of what Donald Trump’s name would be if he were a character on HBO’s Emmy-winning gangster series.”

“The Last Word” anchor also talked about Trump’s “Scrooge effect on Christmas.”
