Kylie Jenner paid tribute to her late hairdresser, Jesus Guerrero, in an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday, just days after his death at age 34 was announced.
“Jesus was more than my friend - he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” Jenner wrote alongside a carousel of photos of the two together. Guerrero worked with celebrities such as Jenner, Demi Moore and Jennifer Lopez.
“I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side,” she said, explaining that Guerrero “had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”
Jenner described the pain of losing her friend as “just unbearable” and said she didn’t “know how to move forward without” him.
“I would give anything for one more deep talk. I’m going to miss you so much,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder added. “More than any words can say.”
Ariel Tejada, a makeup artist who worked alongside Guerrero as part of Jenner’s glam team, commented on the post that “without him our family will never be the same ????.”
Guerrero’s family announced the 34-year-old’s death over the weekend on a GoFundMe page created to cover bringing Guerrero and his belongings back to his hometown of Houston, Texas.

Guerrero’s sister Gris spoke to Us Weekly about her brother’s death, and said that his cause of death remains unknown.
“We have been able to track every one of his steps, but we don’t know what got him sick or what was [the] sickness,” she told the publication in an article published on Wednesday. “It all happened suddenly and no one knows why.”
