Kieran Culkin’s Oscar night victory came with a playful call to action for his wife, Jazz Charton.

Culkin on Sunday nabbed Best Supporting Actor for his performance in “A Real Pain,” beating out Yura Borisov, Edward Norton, Guy Pearce and Jeremy Strong. The actor was widely considered a frontrunner in the category, having also won Golden Globe, BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild awards.

Known for his irreverent commentary, Culkin began his acceptance speech with a shoutout to fellow nominee Strong, his co-star on the smash HBO series “Succession,” for being “fucking great” in “The Apprentice.” He also praised Jesse Eisenberg, who wrote, directed and acted alongside him in “A Real Pain,” as “a genius” for his work on the film.

He went on to recall how, at the 2024 Emmy Awards, he “very stupidly, publicly said that I want a third kid” from Charton if he won an Emmy for his portrayal of Roman Roy on “Succession.”

"Let's get crackin' on those kids."

“She said if I won the award, she would give me the kid,” he said. “It turns out she said that because she didn’t think I was gonna win.”

Culkin went on to note it was only after he’d snagged the Emmy that Charton remembered the pledge. Then, he said, his wife added: “‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’ I held my hand out, she shook it, and I have not brought it up once until just now.”

“I’m really sorry I did this again,” he quipped. “And let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say? I love you!”

Charton and Culkin have been married since 2013 and share two children, daughter Kinsey Sioux and son Wilder Wolf.

Though Culkin offered no time frame in which he and Charton may expand their family, he’s already keeping his children top of mind as he kicks off his next professional chapter.

Later this month, he’ll hit the Broadway stage in the hotly anticipated revival of “Glengarry Glen Ross,” the performance schedule for which was recently adjusted to allot him more family time.
