NextImg:Kendra Wilkinson Gets Real About 'Uncomfortable' Dynamic With Other Playboy Playmates

Kendra Wilkinson says she found it hard to be friends with Hugh Hefner’s other two girlfriends during her time at the Playboy Mansion.

The former Playmate, who dated Hefner alongside housemates Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, addressed her strained relationships with the two during a recent podcast appearance.

“I wasn’t really a girls’ girl at that point in life,” Wilkinson said on “The Skinny Confidential” in an episode released last week. “I was more of a boys’ ― a guys’ girl ... and so we never really bonded.”

“There was two,” Wilkinson said, referencing Madison and Marquardt, “And then me.”

“I was always the third wheel,” the former Playmate, who was only 18 when she first moved to the mansion, said, adding, “It was uncomfortable a lot of the times. It felt really weird.”

Though the now 39-year-old said she “didn’t fit in” with the other two “Girls Next Door” stars, she did have a good friendship with Hefner.

“He was a great friend to me. We loved each other in a different way,” she said.

She stressed that she has “nothing but good things” to say about Madison and Marquardt.

“There’s nothing bad to say,” she stated. “I’m not a negative person like that. But I have my right to have that experience of feeling left out, you know?”

Madison recently opened up about where her relationship stands with Wilkinson now, 15 years after they finished filming their E! show together.

“It would be nice to be on good terms for sure, but I really don’t know where she’s at,” Madison told Us Weekly last week. “I look back at our relationship and what went wrong and I see a lot of fault with executive producers who [were] working on her show and my show after we left.”
