Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson is sending major positive vibes to his hero, former Minnesota receiving great Randy Moss, who is undergoing treatment for cancer.

After catching a 7-yard touchdown pass on Monday against the Chicago Bears, Jefferson formed a heart with his hands and yelled into the camera, “We love you, Randy. That’s for you.”

In the locker room after the Vikings’ 30-12 win, the receiver kept the love coming. “I’m grateful for what he has done for this game and what he has done for me as a kid,” Jefferson said, per ESPN. The young superstar wore a replica Moss jersey as he spoke. “Just watching him and being a fan of him, I’ve always got to show love to him.”

Last week Moss said he underwent surgery to remove a cancerous mass from his bile duct and will receive both radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He is on leave from his analyst role on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.”

The 47-year-old Moss, who’s in the Hall of Fame, is considered one of the very best to ever play the game. Jefferson, 25, has over 7,000 receiving yards in five seasons.

A pair of other Viking receiver standouts began the outpouring of love during the coin flip.

Cris Carter and Jake Reed, who played with Moss, served as honorary captains and held aloft a Moss jersey.

Moss appreciated the gesture.

“LUV U ALL!” he wrote.
