Daily Show” host Jon Stewart clowned President Donald Trump on Monday after he signed an executive order calling on U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturers to lower the cost of prescription drugs to prices similar to other countries.

Trump — in remarks at a White House press conference — declared that the “rest of the world is going to have to pay a little bit more” while America is going to pay “a lot less” under his plan, which experts predict could faces challenges.

“Basically, what we’re doing is equalizing. It’s a new word that I came up with — which I think is probably the best word — we’re going to equalize,” the president emphasized.

Stewart swiftly responded to Trump’s wild claim by pulling out a dictionary from under his desk and flipping through its pages.

“Europe, eureka, Euclid — yeah, here it is. ‘Equalize.’ I thought it sounded familiar,” he quipped before bringing his hands to his face.

“He’s trying to kill us all.”

It’s unclear just how the plan is expected to work.

Trump signed the order on the same day that Republicans revealed Medicaid cuts they look to make in Trump’s so-called “big, beautiful bill.”

Moments earlier, Stewart declared that he has wanted to see lower prescription drug costs for years, adding that Pharma has “exploited” American consumers who have subsidized the industry with “tax incentives and direct funds.”

He then asked for Trump to explain his move before flipping to a clip of the president claiming that his administration looks to lower costs not just by “60, 70, 80, 90%” but also “more than that if you think about it ... mathematically.”

Stewart, after several seconds of silence, responded, “If you think about it mathematically. I don’t want to brag but I often think about numbers mathematically.”
