Jimmy Fallon suspects Sasha and Malia Obama might have been cringing when their dad started rapping an Eminem song in front of thousands of people.

“I saw that last night in Detroit, former President Obama campaigned with Eminem,” the comic said on “The Tonight Show” Wednesday. “And he recited a few lines of ‘Lose Yourself.’”

Barack Obama, campaigning in Michigan for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, rapped the first bars of the track after Eminem introduced him onstage. He personalized the lyrics slightly, and the crowd went wild.

“That’s right. The crowd loved it. While Sasha and Malia were like, well, we lost our votes,” Fallon quipped.
