NextImg:Jimmy Fallon Gets Trump Out Of Debating Harris With Scathing 'Excuse Generator'

Donald Trump clearly doesn’t want to debate Kamala Harris again, and Jimmy Fallon’s developed a new tool to help him get out of it.

“A new poll found that 64% of people want to see another debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, while the other 36% are Donald Trump,” the comedian quipped on “The Tonight Show” Monday.

“Yep, Harris agreed to a second debate, but Trump’s excuse was that, since early voting has already started, it’s too late,” he added. “Well, it turns out Trump is using a special excuse generator to help him get out of these things.”

The Harris campaign has been goading Trump to face off with her again, after the vice president’s successful turn on the debate stage earlier this month.

Trump has said several times he won’t do so. On Saturday, he said it’s “too late” because “voting has already started.”

Fallon’s “excuse generator” churned out a few gems:

  • “I’m too busy preparing for ‘The Masked Singer.’”
  • “I have an appointment for couples therapy with JD Vance.”
  • “I can’t, because my campaign headquarters turned into a Spirit Halloween.”
  • “Sorry, but it’s Eric’s birthday sometime this year.”
  • “I would, but I’m appearing on the ‘Talk Tuah’ podcast.”
