Fox News host Jesse Watters drew ridicule on social media Wednesday after he added a new rule to his ever-growing list of what he claims defines a “real man.”
According to Watters, “Men don’t wave simultaneously with two hands.”
“We wave with one hand, not both hands at the same time,” he declared on “The Five.”
Co-host Greg Gutfeld quickly pushed back: “Men don’t wave at all, Jesse.”
Watters doubled down: “We salute.”

The comments came as the panel mocked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) for pushing back at criticism on Fox News of him drinking a milkshake with a straw.
Watters earlier had laid out his other arbitrary rules for “real men.”
“I have rules for men. They are just funny, they are not that serious,” he claimed of them. “You don’t eat soup in public. You don’t cross your legs and you don’t drink from a straw. And one of the reasons you don’t drink from a straw is because the way your lips purse. It is very effeminate. And his [Walz’s] excuse was, ‘I was drinking a milkshake.’ Again, you shouldn’t be drinking a milkshake, milkshakes are for kids.”

Watters also claimed Democrats had “feminized themselves to win elections, and they lost the elections and lost their manhood and that “real men don’t talk about masculinity, real men never say ‘misogyny.’ It’s just not something we ever say.”
Watters has previously also condemned husbands who go grocery shopping with their wives, men who take bubble baths alone, men who lick ice cream in public and those who wish other men a happy birthday.
Social media users wasted no time mocking Watters’ comments, with many pointing out the absurdity of his self-imposed restrictions and the irony of spending so much time discussing masculinity while claiming “real men” don’t talk about it.
