Jennifer Coolidge shared that a trip to “The White Lotus” gave her dating life a plot twist she didn’t see coming, especially at 63.

In a Sunday interview with The Times, Coolidge gave a candid peek into her love life, thanks to her iconic role as Tanya McQuoid.

“Even though I play a complete weirdo in ‘White Lotus,’ cute guys come up to me,” Coolidge confessed. “And this is far better than ‘American Pie’ because people were really sad about Tanya falling off a boat. These men like you better because they feel that you went through something. That show really upped my game!”

In true Coolidge fashion, she subtly hinted that this wasn’t the first time a role had elevated her dating game. Back in 1999, she played Stiffler’s mom in the comedy “American Pie” at the age of 37, quickly becoming the living, breathing personification of a “right swipe” on any dating app.

In a 2022 interview with Variety, the comedian revealed that she “got a lot of play being a MILF.”

“I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie,’” Coolidge said. “There were so many benefits to doing that movie.”

At the end of the interview, the actor’s humor shined through as she capped off the interview with a line all her own: “There would have been like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”

While the infatuation for her character in the movie eventually faded, “The White Lotus” revived her appeal.

The actor shared a story of being approached in New Orleans prior to being on the show.

“It was a few years ago and he had a T-shirt on that his belly came out of, plus red cowboy boots. He was 4ft 11in and he said, ‘Would you like to go out?’” she recalled, before adding, “And ‘White Lotus’ changed that for me. It’s not just that little guy any more.”

In a 2023 interview with British GQ, she revealed that meeting people is one of her favorite perks of her career.

“My way of talking myself into a different job is like, well, it could be romance, or it could be, you know, a whole different group of friends. Cool things could come out of it.”
