Hilaria Baldwin is laughing off the online discourse surrounding a recent “Extra” interview in which she appeared to reprimand husband Alec Baldwin while on the red carpet.
On Wednesday, the yoga instructor and reality TV personality shared a pair of videos on Instagram in which she and Alec Baldwin playfully attempted to set the record straight about their relationship amid the controversy.
In the first clip, the Baldwins can be seen lying in bed as audio of the “Extra” interview plays. After the two describe their red carpet exchange as a case of “manterrupting” and “correctile dysfunction,” Hilaria Baldwin quips: “The whole point is that we interrupt each other all the time. Or sometimes our kids interrupt!”
A second, even more tongue-in-cheek clip finds the couple once again together in bed above a screenshot of a comment from one of their online critics which proclaims: “She would be nothing without him!”

“I’m having a lot of women writing me saying that they’ll treat you better than I treat you,” Hilaria Baldwin tells her sleepy husband. “Do you want to make a change, just so you can talk more?”
“This isn’t working. I need a woman who understands me, and I thought that was you,” Alec Baldwin replies. “But I was mistaken.”
The couple made headlines last week when they spoke to “Extra” at the reopening of New York’s Planet Hollywood restaurant. Their interview took a slightly awkward turn when they were asked about the second season of their TLC reality series, “The Baldwins.”
“Oh my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking,” Hilaria Baldwin told Alec Baldwin as he attempted to interject. “This is why we’ll have to just cut him out of the show.”
By all accounts, the on-camera tension was brief and innocuous. Still, the footage quickly went viral on social media, with many viewers blasting Hilaria Baldwin for her “mean girl” behavior.

“Insufferable woman. She is unbelievably disrespectful to her husband,” one TikTok user wrote.
Added another: “What a public diss to Alec. Embarrassing.”
“The Baldwins,” which premiered on TLC last month, takes an up-close look at the couple and their seven children. Much of the early buzz on the series has emphasized the ways in which it addresses the 2021 incident on the set of “Rust,” during which Alec Baldwin fired a prop revolver that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
