As Election Day looms, both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are campaigning at breakneck pace — but the tone and settings for their respective rallies look wildly different.

Harris has taken a varied approach to campaigning, speaking at venues big and small, answering questions at town halls and even going toe-to-toe with conservatives during a sit-down interview with Bret Baier on Fox News. On Thursday alone, she hosted three separate rallies in Wisconsin.

Trump, meanwhile, has gone off the deep end in recent weeks. He’s canceled several interviews on major news networks (except for Fox News), disparaged auto workers and hosted a town hall that offered very little time for a Q&A and 40 minutes of Trump listening to music onstage.

Nevertheless, polling shows the two candidates remain in a tight race.

Both Harris and Trump are holding Friday rallies in Michigan, a key battleground state. On Saturday, Trump heads to Pennsylvania, while Harris holds a rally in Georgia.

State Officials Have 1 Key Piece Of Advice For Voting By Mail

The pandemic election in 2020 marked a record-breaking year for the use of mail-in ballots, and voting via the Postal Service is still going strong. Still, some election officials are slightly on edge about this year.

Voting by mail is safe and effective, they emphasize — but amid a halting 10-year Postal Service reorganization plan that has impacted local mail facilities, and frustration over a lack of communication from Postal Service leadership, election officials have a crucial piece of advice for people voting by mail: Send ballots back to election officials as soon as you can.

'Unstable': Harris Campaign Says Trump 'Not Up To The Job' After Al Smith Dinner

Harris’ presidential campaign says Trump “is not up to the job” of leading the country after an “unstable” showing at Thursday’s Al Smith charity dinner in New York.

“Donald Trump struggled to read scripted notes written by his handlers, repeatedly complaining that he couldn’t use a teleprompter,” Harris campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa said in a statement. “He stumbled over his words and lashed out when the crowd wouldn’t laugh with him.”

Donald Trump Lobs Another Childish Insult At Kamala Harris

Stepping off his plane in Detroit, Trump faced a question from a reporter about his health records, and whether he would commit to releasing up-to-date information as Harris has done. Trump appeared to refer the press to letters from doctors released in the years he was president instead. He has refused to make public any more recent details about his overall medical condition.

Trump then challenged Harris to take a cognitive test, claiming he “aced” his. (As was widely reported, Trump took a very simple cognitive test that includes identifying animals.)

“I want to take her do a cognitive test, because she couldn’t ace it, because she wasn’t born smart,” Trump claimed.

Since Harris entered the race for president, Trump has lobbed all manner of insults against her, including reportedly calling her “retarded” in front of deep-pocketed donors.

Harris Dunks On Trump For Being Too ‘Exhausted’ For Interviews

At a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Friday, Harris slammed Trump over his recent cancellations of interviews.

“And check this out, his own campaign team recently said it is because of exhaustion,” Harris said.

In recent weeks, Trump has pulled out of interviews with mainstream outlets including “60 Minutes,” CNBC and NBC News. And on Thursday, the National Rifle Association said they were canceling an event with Trump because of "campaign scheduling changes."

On Friday, Politico reported that Trump backed out of an interview with the website The Shade Room, and that an advisor for the former president told Shade Room producers that Trump was “exhausted and refusing [some] interviews, but that could change.”“

Well, if you are exhausted on the campaign trail, it raises real questions about whether you are fit for the toughest job in the world,” Harris said to cheers. “Come on. Come on.”
