Green Day changed the lyrics of their single “Jesus of Suburbia” to highlight the suffering of Palestinian children during a headline set at Coachella on Saturday.

The Grammy-winning punk band referenced the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict as they made the latest in a long series of political gestures.

During the song, which is taken from the George W. Bush-slamming 2004 album “American Idiot,” lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong changed the line “runnin’ away from pain when you’ve been victimized,” to “runnin’ away from pain like the kids from Palestine.”

The switch came during a quiet moment in the song, and drew cheers from the audience.

It’s not the first time the band has shown solidarity with Palestinians.

During a concert in Malaysia in February, Armstrong draped a Palestinian flag over his shoulder to signal his support for the besieged population of Gaza.

The band also took direct aim at President Donald Trump at the start of their Coachella set.

Opening with the song “American Idiot,” Armstrong changed the words “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda” to “I’m not a part of a MAGA agenda.”

Aside from Green Day, politics took center stage when Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) made a surprise appearance at the first weekend of the California desert festival on Saturday.

The 83-year-old lawmaker railed against Trump, corporate greed and the billionaire class as he warned, “The future of what happens to America is dependent upon your generation.”
