Now that it’s been announced which actors will portray John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in Sam Mendes’ upcoming quartet of Beatles biopics, people are focusing on other casting questions.

That’s including Harrison’s ex-wife Pattie Boyd, a model and photographer who was married to the guitarist between 1966 and 1977 before she married Eric Clapton, who wrote the song “Layla” for her.

After it was officially announced that Harris Dickinson will portray Lennon, Paul Mescal will be McCartney, Joseph Quinn will portray Harrison and Barry Keoghan will take on the role of Ringo Starr, Boyd asked another casting question on X: Who’s playing her ― and is she even being portrayed at all?

“I wonder who will be cast to play me? That’s assuming that I get to feature in any of the movies,” she said.

I hope it isn’t Margot Robbie. No offense to her, but I think she’s overrated. And as good as she was in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, I don’t think she captured Sharon Tate’s beauty and you’re a special case as well. I think they’re better getting an unknown who captures your…

They couldn’t possibly make it without you, it wouldn’t work! Go on Pattie! I’d love Jodie Comer to play you!

Based on responses to Boyd’s post, it seems as if one actor seems to be a favorite of many: “White Lotus” Season 3 cast member Aimee Lee Wood.

What would you think about Aimee Lou Wood?

But one person was focused on other possible roles for the movie more than who would play Boyd.

And who will play the eggman? Is Paul really the Walrus? Or is it all nonsense?
