NextImg:Eric Trump’s Hot Take On Kamala Harris In Debate Goes Spectacularly Awry
LOADINGERROR LOADING

Eric Trump predictably went to bat for his father, the former president and current GOP candidate Donald Trump, during Tuesday’s presidential debate.

But the Trump scion was widely judged to have spectacularly self-owned with one comment about his dad’s Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Eric Trump wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Kamala’s Strategy: Lots of generic talk about absolutely nothing...”

Kamala’s Strategy: Lots of generic talk about absolutely nothing…

Critics, however, thought it actually summed up his dad’s panned performance:

The debate was like watching a sad old man at thanksgiving dinner blather nonsensically as the host fed him and served the guests and entertained everyone and made him a plate of leftovers and put him in a van back home. And now we get to watch eric lie and pretend it wasn’t

Your father didn't say anything but the same tired old lies. She crushed it, you guys got nothing. He looked old, angry and wouldn't even look at either woman in the room.

Harris crushed Trump. Keep up the whining. https://t.co/XmFFANFmDG

Rather have someone who conducts themselves like a human being, and says just enough than be a rambling egomaniac racist lying piece of ???? like your dad. https://t.co/Tai3kX8kfv

What was Don Seniors Strategy ? Lies Lies Lies.

Q: Is there anything better than watching a weak, raging misogynist get his head handed to him by a strong woman? A: Nope

— David F. (@NJGuitarBoy) September 11, 2024

That would be your dad.

Trump couldn’t tell the truth even if he wanted too
