“Daily Show” correspondent Ronny Chieng called out Donald Trump and his allies for blaming Democrats ― including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris ― after yet another apparent attempt on his life over the weekend.
“Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at,” Trump said, while running mate JD Vance likewise insisted “the left” was to blame for the attacks on Trump for calling him a “fascist.”
“Yeah, liberals,” Chieng mockingly agreed. “Stop accurately describing Trump. You’re putting him in danger when you repeat the things he says verbatim.”
He also sarcastically agreed that the problem is Democrats using the word “fascist.”
“You don’t see Donald Trump doing that all the time,” he said, then played a supercut video of the former president repeatedly calling Harris a “fascist” and using other over-the-top rhetoric to describe his opponent.

“Trump has called Kamala a fascist so much I’m not sure he knows her name,” Chieng said.
