NextImg:Critics Roast Trump Spokesperson Over Debate Prep Claim

Disney Channel actor-turned-Donald Trump spokesperson Caroline Sunshine on Monday raised eyebrows with her latest claim about the former president.

Sunshine was on Newsmax talking about GOP nominee Trump’s preparation for Tuesday’s presidential debate with Democratic rival Kamala Harris when she declared:

President Trump is working around the clock as usual today, always working 24 hours a day, unlike Kamala Harris because he knows that’s what it takes to be president of the United States.

The line reminded some critics on social media of North Korean-style propaganda, given Trump’s actual penchant for time on the golf course and other non-working activities.

For others, it harked back to the final days of Trump’s presidency when his daily, public schedule would say he’d “work from early in the morning until late in the evening” and “make many calls and have many meetings.”

Sunshine, who appeared alongside Zendaya in “Shake It Up,” in June claimed serial liar Trump is “like a pair of glasses for the American people” because “it’s always through him that they can see the truth.”

And by "working 24 hours a day," she means Donald woke up after 11 AM, had a six-egg omelet, and then rode around a golf course in a cart with a silly presidential seal dangling on the front.

Oh please. Trump only waddled into the Oval Office at midday. After a morning of hair, make up, TV watching and rage tweeting.

They called it "Executive Time". Remember? https://t.co/z7t0HlFy8a

Per several books written by Trump Administration officials, Trump typically came to the Oval Office around noon each day & spent a lot of time watching TV.

Trump works 48 hours a day. Numbers so big, nobody has ever seen. I would say 100%, even 120% of that!

Yes, if golfing is considered a job. The time he spent at the game, during his term was staggering. There was also a cost to taxpayers when he travelled to his golf course.

On his own personal behalf but not for anyone else.
