Turns out, Chelsea Handler’s midlife revelations aren’t just about wisdom — they’re also about more frequent midnight rendezvous.
“I’m having a lot of sex,” Handler revealed on a Monday episode of the “Jennifer Hudson Show.”
The comedian was met with resounding applause after her revelation on her “sexual awakening,” and a curious Hudson then asked, “What is that? Explain that.”
With the audiences’ full support and attention, Handler dove into how wine isn’t the only thing that gets better with age.

“I don’t know if it’s a sexual awakening or if it’s just growing up and growing out,” she responded, while continuing to say, “Anyone I’m intimate with or in a relationship with, they’re lucky.“
With age, Handler has come to fully acknowledge her own power, saying that those who enter her orbit are “lucky” to be around her. In lay terms, Handler’s presence is a present.
Earlier in the interview, the New York Times best-selling author shared her perception of age, courtesy of a friend.

“When you’re growing up in your 20s and your 30s, you’re always worried about what you did or what you’re going to do. You’re always worried about the past or you’re always worried about the future, but once you’re 50, you don’t have time for that nonsense — you’re just right in the moment,” Handler said, passing on the words of wisdom from her confidant.
She also confessed feeling a sense of excitement when it comes to her age, describing herself as feeling “vibrant.” The author added that she now views her age in a totally different light than when her father was 50.
“When my father was 50, I was like, ‘Well may as well be dead,’” Handler said. “But now, in the way we’re living, 50 years later… 50 isn’t so bad.”
