Cardi B’s daughter has taken her creativity to a new level, using something a bit more lavish than a sketchbook as her canvas.
On Sunday, the rapper, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, fired up Instagram to share a “money bag” that may have lost a little of its “bodak yellow” shine. In a now-deleted Instagram Story, which was posted Monday on YouTube, Cardi revealed that her daughter Kulture, whom she shares with her ex Offset, had drawn a heart on her very expensive Hermes purse.
“I literally spent $60,000 on this purse,” Cardi revealed. “Look what my daughter did to my purse.”

The inflection of the artist’s voice shifted, growing more incredulous as she repeated, “Look at what my daughter did to my purse,” zooming in on the heart her child had drawn.
On Tuesday, talk show host Sherri Shepherd shared her thoughts on the fiasco.
“Cardi B is entering a phase of parenting that a lot of us mothers know very, very well,” Shepherd said.
The comedian was speaking of the tender age where children begin to explore their artistic abilities and “write on things” or, in Kulture’s case, rewrite the value of high fashion.

Shepherd also pointed out the rapper’s repeated refrain, joking that she got Cardi’s anger “the first time.” She went on to joke that Kulture’s art project had “depreciated” the bag by “$40,000.”
“I sure feel bad for Cardi, but I’m sure hoping I see that [bag] on Poshmark next week,” Shepherd joked.
She continued to note the symmetry of Kulture’s small heart on the bag, suggesting that Cardi should turn lemons into lemonade, maybe even nicknaming the piece “Kulture’s Collection.”

“Kulture might have made that bag even more expensive,” she said.
