A MAGA influencer who is claiming to be the mother of one of Elon Musk’s children resorted to drastic measures this past weekend to deal with a cut in child support from the Tesla mogul.
Ashley St. Clair, 26, said that she was selling a Tesla worth $100,000 in order to “make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” the Daily Mail reported.
St. Clair first revealed she had a child with Musk in September after filing two petitions last month seeking a court-ordered paternity test and sole custody of the child.
She told reporters that being vindictive is the billionaire’s “modus operandi when women speak out” while she handed over the Tesla to a rep for Carvana, an online car dealership.
She also said she’s “not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes” and added, “The markets are catching up to what I have known for a long time.” Shares of Tesla stock fell 36% in the first quarter of 2025, according to CNBC, following Musk’s dubious federal cost-cutting measures through President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency.
Musk has fathered six kids with first wife, Justine Wilson, three with singer Grimes and four with Neuralink executive Shivon Zillis. He has not publicly acknowledged St. Clair’s paternity claims.
The closest he came to discussing it were some responses on X, formerly Twitter, to posts by others claiming that St. Clair had plotted for years to have a baby with the billionaire.
Still, St. Clair has alleged in court filings reviewed by HuffPost that Musk has “acknowledged parentage of the child in various written correspondences.”
She also claimed that Musk only spent a total of three hours with the baby, who is identified as “R.S.C” in the filings.

St. Clair’s Tesla sale comes at a time when people have been protesting at dealerships for the electric vehicle company and destroying the cars in reaction to Musk’s DOGE work.
