President Donald Trump’s latest false claim about winning the 2020 election against now-former President Joe Biden got the treatment (once again) from CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale on Tuesday.

“We just had the biggest victory in Michigan,” Trump boasted at a rally in Warren, Michigan, marking his first 100 days back in office.

“We won it twice,” Trump said, later adding, “We actually won it three times.”

Dale suggested, “I think there are actual schoolchildren who could fact-check some of this for us.”

“President Trump did not win three victories,” Dale noted. “He won in 2016 and 2024. He lost in 2020. He did not win Michigan three times. He, again, won in 2016 and 2024, lost in 2020 to Joe Biden by more than 150,000 votes.”

“If anyone is surprised that he’s still lying about not only the election more than four years ago, but the election he won, as he did tonight, they haven’t been paying attention,” he added. “He has repeatedly, this term, as well as the election he ran in, continues to deceive about the last three campaigns.”

“All of this is nonsense but no amount of fact-checking appears to have deterred him on this subject,” Dale lamented.
