White House counselor Alina Habba raised eyebrows — and critics’ hackles — with her claim about President Donald Trump’s Cabinet on Thursday.

Habba talked with Fox NewsSean Hannity about the criticism being aimed at the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, amid the tech billionaire’s gutting of government via the non-official Department of Government Efficiency that Trump has tasked him with running.

“It’s very basic,” said Habba of the ire aimed at Musk.

“Let’s think about this,” she told Hannity. “In our administration, we have a tremendous amount of billionaires who are successful businessmen and I could name them all, but we know who they are, who have taken a leave, sold their companies, walked way from their lives to sacrifice to help America be great again. There are many, many.”

Critics, though, asked Habba to name who has essentially given it all up to serve Trump, whose second-term Cabinet is the richest ever with a reported possible combined wealth of $20 billion. That’s not including Musk, whose wealth is currently hovering around the $400 billion mark.

None of them walked away from their companies.
