Adrien Brody’sgross” move at the Oscars stuck with viewers on Sunday.

He won best actor for “The Brutalist” in the second win of his career. But some fans said Brody tainted his golden moment by spitting out his gum and tossing it to girlfriend Georgina Chapman as he took the stage for his long-winded acceptance speech.

Viewers criticized Brody’s stunt on ABC ― as in Already Been Chewed gum.

Not cool,” one viewer wrote on Bluesky.

“Ick she should have thrown it back at him,” another scolded on X.

One person on social media might have gone a tad far in their outrage: “Arrest Adrien Brody.”
