NextImg:'What's happened to the officer who had her nose smashed to pieces?!' Ben Leo condemns Manchester Airport reaction - 'what about stabbed soldier?'

Ben Leo today spoke of the recent incident at Manchester Airport which saw video footage emerge of a police officer kicking an Asian man in the head during arrest.

The video failed to show the full picture of events where previous to the footage, police officers were attacked leaving one woman PC with a bloody nose.

The footage did however lead to the suspension of the police officer involved from duty.

Speaking after Britain's Newsroom, Ben said: "So a couple of days after the incident at Manchester airport. We've all seen the videos. The copper has been suspended.

"All we hear now is about how the so-called victims are going to be claiming all sorts of compensation claims against the police. And of course, as I said, that copper has been suspended.

"But I want to know what's happened to the victim, the police officer who had her nose smashed into pieces. We don't hear any of that. We don't hear any of the officers who were hospitalised in that assault.

"And it just seems to be that, you know, there's more outrage about the fact a copper was using finally, some force in an airport, which some would argue is completely justified.

"You're in an airport, a highly secure area. There was concern that their guns could be taken away.

"There's more outrage about that than there is about one of our British Army soldiers being stabbed, potentially very close to death. He's still fighting for his life in Gillingham.

"I think we've got our priorities all wrong, don't you?"
