Former The Apprentice star Tom Skinner says parents "need to do more" to cook meals with their children, as new research shows that mealtimes are the most stressful parts of the day for parents.

Speaking to GB News, Skinner told hosts Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce: " We should do a little bit more cooking and we all forget about this. Eggs are so easy. They're full of nutrition.

"There's so many meals you can do. Like last week, me and my little boy, he's three years old, I made toad in the hole and I got him to sit on the counter and crack an egg, put in the flour, little bit of milk, mix it up, couple in a couple of sausages in the oven, a little bit of veg. Job done."
