Vladimir Putin has issued a chilling warning to Ukraine in a personal phone call with Donald Trump.
The two leaders spoke down the line on Wednesday, Trump said.
And during the conversation, Putin told his American counterpart that his country "will have to" respond to Ukraine's recent mass drone attack on Russian soil.
"The call lasted approximately one hour and 15 minutes," Trump revealed in a Truth Social post.

"We discussed the attack on Russia's docked airplanes by Ukraine, and also various other attacks that have been taking place by both sides.
"It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate peace," he warned.
Also on the agenda was Iran - and the Commander-in-Chief also told followers that he "stated to President Putin that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon".
"On this," Trump added, "I believe that we were in agreement."
He continued: "President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields."

On Sunday, Ukraine revealed that 40 Russian military aircraft had been struck in an extraordinary drone attack.
Volodymyr Zelensky's security service, the SBU, said: "Enemy strategic bombers are burning en masse in Russia."
The regional governor of Russia's eastern Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzev, also confirmed that drones attacked a military unit in the Sredny settlement.
It was the first such attack in Siberia, and "the source from where the drones were fired has already been blocked".
