



Two people have died and two others have been left seriously hurt following a shooting in Northern Ireland.
Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is at the scene of the incident in the village of Maguiresbridge, County Fermanagh.
The force said there is no ongoing risk to the public.
Ambulance crews were called to the shooting in the Drummeer Road area just after 8.20am today.
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed two people were taken to hospital, including one by air ambulance.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at scene, one patient has been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast by Air Ambulance and another to South West Acute Hospital by Ambulance," they said.
Road closures have been put in place as police continue to work at the scene.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The Drummeer Road, Maguiresbridge, is currently closed to road users.
"Please be aware that this may lead to delays on the A4 Belfast Road. An update will follow in due course."
