X, formerly known as Twitter, has been hit with an outage as multiple users report problems accessing the app or website.

The site, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, went down yesterday too, as 12,000 individuals have reported the site crashing on Downdetector.

Over 25,000 American users have reported the social media platform going downMusk bought Twitter in October 2022 for $44billion (£32.5billion) and laid off around 80 per cent of employees.
