The country has seen searches surge by 50 per cent over the past three years, with 184 million Instagram posts and 15.6 million TikTok hashtags celebrating everything from ancient traditions to natural wonders.
September through November offers the perfect autumn escape to Japan, with pleasant weather and events like the Saga International Balloon Fiesta drawing visitors.
Italy's autumn magic has captured hearts too, with 195 million posts showcasing everything from Rome's Colosseum to authentic pizza experiences. Food lovers particularly adore the grape harvest and truffle season in Tuscany and Umbria.
