Five damning charts show the staggering amount of money Channel migrants are costing the British taxpayer, as well as the mouth-watering profits people smugglers are making.
The shock statistics emerged after more than 1,000 migrants crossed the Channel in a single day over the weekend, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer accused of losing "complete control" of Britain's borders.
Graphs produced by the Centre for Migration and Economic Prosperity (CMEP) reveal that the British taxpayer has picked up a huge £732million bill so far this year to fund Channel migrants in the UK.
Graphs show the month-on-month cost for Channel migrants in the UK so far this year, accounting for the massive figure, with people smugglers making a tidy profit.
The CMEP has totalled up the profits of people smugglers to be £96million since the start of this year, and over £1billion since January 1, 2018.

The graphs also reveal that since 2018, UK taxpayers have forked out over £8billion for the 165,427 Channel migrants who have made their way across the Channel
So far this year, Britain has seen 14,652 Channel migrants arrive on its shores, which includes a huge 1,194 that came on Saturday.
Some 259 boats have made their way to the UK so far this year, with France only stopping 38 per cent of small boats on their way.
This marks a major decline from 45 per cent last year and 46.9 per cent the year before that, despite the UK dishing out £800million to France since the start of 2015 to prevent the issue.

Director of the CMEP Steven Woolfe said: "Today, people smugglers are laughing in the face of the British people. Whilst they make a £billion the British are paying £8 billion a year to house, feed & look after their clients - They prove crime pays big time.
"Estimate arrivals this year to be the highest on record at around 52,263 arrivals, a cost of nearly £3billion in the first year alone - there has been no stopping the boats and no stopping the gangs, only stopping voices that point out this inequity."
The graphs follow GB News Home and Security Editor Mark White explaining the severity of the Channel crossings on Saturday.
White told the People's Channel: "Very rarely do we ever get this high. We can top a thousand in the hot days of summer; I'm talking August and September time. To get this number is significant, but to get it so early in the year is phenomenal.

GETTY"In images shot from a coastline community resort between Dunkirk and Calais, you see lots and lots of migrants wading out into the shallow English Channel to get onto taxi boats.
"These boats were launched further up the coast from rivers which come and collect others."
Defence Secretary John Healey blames record Channel migrant crossings on French police failing to intervene in shallow waters.
Healey told GB News: "Britain lost control of its borders five or six years ago. When the Tories left office and left Government last year, they left the asylum system in chaos."
