GB News host Darren Grimes has hit out at a protestor who hijacked the news channel during a live broadcast.

As the host crossed over to political correspondent Katherine Forster, a protester chanted down the microphone: "Shame on you GB News."

It comes as crowds of protesters gathered in London to protest and call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Darren said: "We can't hear Katherine because someone is shouting her down, which I think is a disgusting way to behave, frankly.

Katherine is a valued and formidable colleague. And I think that's a disgusting way to behave when someone is trying to work. She's there as an impartial journalist.

"She's not there to offer a side, give an opinion either way. And I genuinely think that's a really despicable way to treat somebody. But that's what we're dealing with."
