A plane has crashed off the coast of Thailand leaving at least six people dead. 

Officers said the aircraft was caught on camera nosediving into the water while on a test flight to prepare for parachute training.

The crash took place in the Gulf of Thailand near Hua Hin Airport just after 8am. Royal Thai Police spokesman Archayon Kraithong told local media there was only one survivor of the crash.
