Gigi Hadid's sister Marielle has claimed she played matchmaker for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, taking "all responsibility" for their relationship.

During a recent appearance on the "Nice Girls Don't Win" podcast with hosts Amy Bean and Parvati Shallow, the 44-year-old revealed she encouraged the romance before the pair had even met.

Marielle told the podcast hosts on Wednesday that she put in a good word for the NFL star with Swift after seeing Kelce had publicly expressed interest in dating the pop star.

Marielle recalled doing a tarot card reading for Swift before the singer's Eras Tour show in Santa Clara, California, during summer 2023.

"I did pull a card for her because I had seen something where her [current boyfriend, Travis Kelce] had said that he wanted to date her," Marielle explained.

The self-described "intuitive card reader" said she told both Gigi and Swift that the singer "should date" Kelce, even if it was "just for fun".

She noted a curious coincidence in the reading, saying: "The word 'swiftly' was in the reading."

Marielle added that Swift "had never had a tarot card reading before, which I thought was interesting".

In a particularly candid moment during the podcast, Bean asked Marielle whether she had told Swift that Kelce would be a "good lay".

"I did!" Marielle confirmed without hesitation. "I was like, 'Come on.' … She deserves it."

The eldest Hadid sibling appears confident in her matchmaking abilities, declaring: "So I take all responsibility for [their relationship]!" She added: "I think it's a good match."

When contacted by Page Six regarding Marielle's revelations, a representative for Swift did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Swift and Kelce confirmed their relationship in September 2023, just two months after he expressed romantic interest in the "Cruel Summer" songstress on his "New Heights" podcast.

The Grammy winner has been publicly supporting Kelce at his NFL games since then, including appearances at both the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls.

The couple officially confirmed their romance in October 2023 when they were spotted holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.

Most recently, fans have begun speculating that the couple may be living together during the offseason after Kelce made a telling slip-up whilst discussing his £15.5 million Florida rental home.
