NextImg:'She's finished!' Sarah Ferguson handed scathing takedown after 'disgraceful' emails with Jeffrey Epstein are uncovered

Sarah Ferguson is "finished" in royal working duties after her "utterly disgraceful" emails with Jeffrey Epstein were uncovered, a royal broadcaster has claimed.

Speaking to GB News, Sarah-Louise Robertson said that the Duchess of York "can't really be seen in public life anymore".

Sarah Ferguson has been dropped by several charities after emails to the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 2011 surfaced.

The emails revealed that the Duchess had reached out to him and called him a "supreme friend," to apologise for publicly disowning him just weeks earlier.

On Monday afternoon, children's hospice Julia's House announced they were cutting ties with the royal, which triggered a domino effect for other major charities to remove the Duchess as patron.

The British Heart Foundation, the Children's Literacy Charity, the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals, the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, the Teenage Cancer Trust and Prevent Breast Cancer all publicly announced the end of Sarah's patronages with them.

Discussing the crisis on GB News, Ms Robertson declared: "She's finished, she's absolutely finished. There is no comeback. This is utterly disgraceful.

"The fact that she referred to Epstein as her friend, she praised his judgement, she said how steadfast, loyal and generous he was because of the £15,000 she accepted."

Ms Robertson added: "She was obviously hoping by buttering him up, despite the fact of knowing that he was on charges of paedophilia, that she was maybe going to hopefully hold on to that £15,000."

Calling on the Duchess to "take responsibility" for her actions, the broadcaster told GB News: "The trouble is with the Duchess of York is she has always been a real spender, and interestingly, in that email that she sent to Jeffrey Epstein, she says 'I don't want to cause Andrew any more pain'.

"So she has a massive role to play, and she has to take responsibility for her actions. There's just no way back."

Discussing Sarah Ferguson's future as a working royal, Ms Robertson suggested that she "can't be seen in public life anymore" and this scandal now "hangs over her head".

Ms Robertson concluded: "The King has been looking for a way to get them out of Royal Lodge that they live in, and Andrew, the Duke of York, has so far steadfastly refused to budge. He's dug his heels in. But what choice do they have now?

"Sarah really can't be seen in public life. Charles wants to ban them now from from Royal Family events. This is it for her.

"All the charities have dropped her, she really can't be seen in public life anymore, not with this hanging over her head. It's just too much."

A spokesman for the Duchess told GB News: "The Duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as they have always been her first thoughts are with his victims.

"Like many people, she was taken in by his lies. As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia.

"She does not resile from anything she said then. This email was sent in the context of advice the Duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats."
