



A secondary school has been evacuated after a "threatening message" was sent to members of staff.
Matthew Moss High School in Marland, Rochdale has been closed with emergency services in attendance.
A spokesperson from the school said: "Matthew Moss High School have received a threatening message by email and have evacuated the school as a precaution.
"All learners and staff are safe and the police are in attendance. Please do not travel to the school at this time to allow police and staff to manage the situation."

GB News has approached Greater Manchester Police for a comment.
On social media, one parent wrote: "I have taken my child home . The teachers are doing a fantastic job at keeping them all staff and calm ! Well done to you all"
Another added: "OMG what is wrong with people!! Hope everyone is OK my granddaughters are scared stood in the park. They need to all be sent home."
