Tory leader Kemi Badenoch has been invited to visit Britain’s ‘first Reform UK pub’ by its landlord, Pete Flynn.

Speaking on GB News, the co-owner reacted to Kemi Badenoch’s response to being asked whether she would pay the Blackpool watering hole a visit.

She told GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope: “I would go for a pint anywhere British people are serving good British food and pints.

“I’m not somebody who decides who to talk to because of their party political affiliation.

“We should keep the politics out of the fun. There’s not enough fun in politics as it is.”

Upon seeing the footage, Flynn sent a message to GB News star Martin Daubney in which he extended an invite to the Tory leader.

“I watched GB News last night and Kemi, the Conservative leader, was asked whether she would come to the new Reform UK pub in Blackpool”, he said.

“She said she would go anywhere for a great British pint and a great British meal.

“Well, I’m offering Kemi that for free of charge. I’ll pay for it. Come on Kemi, come up here. You never know, we might convert you to vote Reform.”

The establishment was previously of a Tory persuasion but announced this month it has shifted its ties to Nigel Farage’s insurgent party.

Flynn joined Martin on the People’s Channel yesterday to discuss its rebrand.

“We wanted to be the first Reform club. We’re both Reform members. We love Nigel Farage - so it’s fantastic”, he said.

He hit out at claims the pub would be a “den for racists” or only accessible for Reform members.

“If Jeremy Corbyn walked in - he would have to have his picture taken and he’d be charged twice the price”, Flynn joked.

“But on a serious point, there’s no racism here. I can assure you of that. We’re just positive.”

He added: "It's not membership only, we're a pub. Everybody and anyone is welcome. If you want a side order of politics with your pint, I'm happy to help.

The newly rebranded venue is offering promotions this month to attract new customers.

"We're running a promotion through May which is two pints for £6," Flynn told GB News.

The establishment is still in its early days as a Reform UK venue.

"Me and my business partner put the signs up over the weekend and yesterday was our first day. We're only on our second day and I am on the telly," Flynn remarked.
