NextImg:R&B singer Ne-Yo defends polyamorous relationship as he adds fourth woman to expanding 'family'

R&B singer Ne-Yo has expanded his polyamorous relationship by adding a fourth partner, backup dancer Brionna Williams.

The 45-year-old Miss Independent hitmaker, who recently made headlines for his unconventional romantic life, has welcomed Williams to join his existing trio of girlfriends.

The latest addition to Ne-Yo's relationship circle was confirmed through shared personal videos showing the pair's intimate moments, including joint workouts and beach outings.

Williams, an accomplished choreographer, joins Ne-Yo's other partners Bella, Phoenix Feather, and Arielle Hill in what the singer describes as a harmonious arrangement.

She has already established herself in the dance industry, having worked with prominent artists including Ciara and Iggy Azalea.

The relationship became Instagram official on December 31, when Williams spent New Year's Eve with Ne-Yo in Manila.

She has since proudly displayed her connection with Ne-Yo across her social media platforms, sharing moments of their relationship.

The dancer has faced public scrutiny alongside Ne-Yo, recently posting an image of him wearing a shirt stating "Fun fact, I don't care" in response to critics.

Despite Williams' public displays of affection with Ne-Yo, she appears less integrated with his other partners than they are with each other.

Bella, Phoenix Feather, and Arielle Hill all list each other in their Instagram bios, confirming their polycule status with Ne-Yo.

However, Williams has yet to be added to their social media profiles or featured in their posts, despite the other three regularly sharing photos together.

Most notably, Williams was absent from the group's Valentine's Day celebrations, where Ne-Yo spent the day with his original three partners.

Phoenix Feather recently addressed public interest in their arrangement, stating: "Y'all need to understand over here it's a solid foundation... just know it's US VS NOBODY." (sic)

Ne-Yo has been outspoken about his polyamorous lifestyle, telling TMZ: "You should let people do whatever the hell they want to do. I don't recommend anything to anybody—what works for me might not work for you."

The singer has indicated there is "no cap" on the number of partners he can handle, stating he's happy to have "as many as you can afford".

"The key ingredient is honesty," Ne-Yo told the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. "I don't ask for exclusivity, but if someone offers it, that's the agreement."

He has challenged society's expectations, saying: "Society tells you that you're supposed to be with one person. You get married, and y'all are supposed to be together forever."

Ne-Yo's embrace of polyamory follows his divorce from Crystal Renay, which was finalised in 2023.

The former couple, who share three children, had renewed their vows in April 2022, but Renay filed for divorce four months later citing infidelity.

In an emotional Instagram statement, Renay wrote: "Eight years of lies and deception. Eight years unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women."
