



A body found in a lake in Cheshire has been confirmed as missing woman Rachel Booth.
The body of the 38-year-old was discovered in a lake in the village of Oakmere, Northwich, yesterday.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said in a statement this morning: "A body found in a lake in Oakmere has been formally identified as that of Rachel Booth.
"Rachel's family continue to be supported by specialist officers from Cheshire Police and they ask for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time."

The force previously said there was not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
The mother-of-three was reported missing by her family on Saturday, July 19.
She was captured on CCTV going into a petrol station in Sandiway, Cheshire, at 3.50am.
Police began carrying at searches following her disappearance, including at Delamere Lake holiday park, near Oakmere, over the weekend.

Detectives earlier said they were conducting inquiries in the area as they believed she had travelled there.
On Monday, July 21, two underwater search units were seen arriving in the area, next to Wild Shore Delamere water park.
An incident command unit and a police dogs vehicle were also at the scene.
Police remained in the area after the news that a body had been found was announced yesterday.

Booth was described as being 5ft 9ins tall with blonde hair and of a slim build.
At the time of her disappearance, police believe she was wearing black leggings with a black top.
