Britons who purchased folding Wooden Deck Chairs from TK Maxx or Homesense between March and June this year face an urgent safety alert.
The retailers have withdrawn various chairs following concerns about structural stability.
The chairs pose a risk of unexpected "collapse" during normal use, potentially causing harm to users.
Both retail chains are taking immediate action to remove these items from circulation.
The affected products feature fabric seats with wooden frames and were available in multiple designs and colours.
In total, 23 product codes are involved in the withdrawal: 59357, 59358, 59359, 59347, 59348, 59349, 59345, 59346, 000051, 59338, 59339, 59340, 59336, 59337, 59330, 59331, 59328, 59329, 60949, 60950, 60951, 60952, 60953.
The retailer told shoppers: "If you purchased this product, please stop using it immediately."
Customers should bring affected deck chairs back to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a complete refund or exchange.

Customers can return affected deck chairs to TK Maxx or Homesense
The fault affects particular production runs and could cause the device to reach unsafe temperatures or malfunction. Ring has asked Argos to inform all buyers about this hazard.
The manufacturer stated: "Devices from the affected batches should not be charged any more."
Customers must check the batch number on the rear of their unit and immediately discontinue use of impacted inflators.
Ring has created a verification webpage at https://ringautomotive.com/en/product-recall where owners can enter their batch information.
Those with affected models will get free replacement inflators sent directly to them after submitting the recall form.
The company advised: "Please wait until you receive a replacement before you dispose of your current device. Your current device should not be charged until you hear from Ring."
Defective units should not be returned to shops but instead taken to public waste centres that handle lithium batteries.
