Princess Charlene commanded attention in a £4,400 Oscar De La Renta dress as she joined celebrations to mark two decades of her husband, Prince Albert II's reign.

The House of Grimaldi was out in force as they gathered on Saturday evening in the principality for the extravagant celebrations.

The 47-year-old princess attended alongside Prince Albert and their 10-year-old twins, Jacques and Gabriella.

Charlene stood out as she sported the eye-catching, vibrant pink dress with distinctive cut-out detailing from one of Europe's most established fashion houses.

The sleeveless midi dress showcased an asymmetrical skirt with strategic floral cut-outs, complemented by a fitted waistband and classic neckline.

She paired the dress with Ascent 55 White Leather Slingback Pumps by Gianvito Rossi.

Charlene topped off the ensemble with simple pearl stud earrings.

Saturday's celebration at Place du Palais attracted the entire Grimaldi clan for a show of unity and support for the sovereign's milestone anniversary.

Prince Albert's sisters, Caroline and Stéphanie of Monaco, joined the festivities alongside numerous younger royals.

Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo attended, alongside Charlotte Casiraghi, whose partner, Pierre Casiraghi, was notably absent from the gathering.

Alexandra of Hanover made an appearance, as did Louis and Pauline Ducruet with Marie Ducruet. Camille Gottlieb and Caroline's future son-in-law, Ben Sylvester Strautmann, were also amongst the attendees.

The younger generation, including Balthazar, Stefano and Maximilian Casiraghi, provided particularly endearing moments throughout the evening.

The Monegasque royals were out in force to celebrate the occasion

The sovereign displayed unusual public affection, exchanging embraces with his wife and children whilst greeting citizens who had gathered to offer congratulations.

The festivities commenced at 6.30pm, with Monaco's national anthem opening the proceedings.

Traditional folk performances entertained the assembled crowd throughout the celebration, which continued until approximately 10.30pm.

Prince Albert delivered an emotional address to mark his two decades as Monaco's ruler.

The extravagant celebrations were capped off with the cutting of an enormous cake

The evening concluded with a spectacular cake presentation, accompanied by vibrant lighting displays that particularly delighted the youngest royals in attendance.

The sovereign spent considerable time mingling with citizens who had gathered at the Palace gates. Many left written tributes commemorating his 20-year reign, with several messages subsequently shared through the Princely House's official social media channels.

The female royals showcased impeccable summer fashion throughout the evening, with elegant dresses and tailored suits appropriate for Monaco's warm weather.

Sophisticated accessories, including occasional millinery and fine jewellery, completed their ensembles.
