



Prince William is set to leave the UK within days for Pope Francis's funeral on Saturday, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
The Prince of Wales, 42, will attend the occasion on behalf of the King, the Palace has said.
A spokesman from The Vatican has confirmed the funeral will take place on Saturday April 26, at 9am BST.
Pope Francis has been pictured in an open casket as the Vatican confirmed details for the pontiff's funeral.

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican's Secretary of State, was pictured standing alongside the body of Pope Francis during the rite of the declaration of death in Santa Marta residence.
The Argentine pontiff died on Monday morning from a stroke, aged 88.
His passing came less than a month after he was admitted from hospital following a five-week battle with double pneumonia.
The Prince of Wales is currently on a short break from royal duties to spend time with his wife and three children during their Easter half-term school break.
