Raymond Connolly, the husband of the woman jailed for a tweet, has claimed that his wife is being "made an example of" under the UK's "two tier justice system."
Lucy Connolly's appeal against her 31-month prison sentence was rejected by three judges on Tuesday
The mother of three had been jailed last October after admitting to inciting racial hatred through a social media post about migrant hotels.
Raymond Connolly told GB News in an exclusive interview “I see on the TV in the paper that there is a really big inconsistency. I am going to take it personally. I look at Lucy and I just think that they are making a big example of her.
"Even today I was walking in the shop and people were looking at me. They came up to me and said are you Ray Connolly? They were so harsh with you're wife."
